Monarch Glass Studio is owned and operated by Tyler Kimball and his “crew” of experienced glass artists. Kimball is a native of Kansas City and has experience working in over 50 studios in various roles.
Visitors are welcome to witness the talent of Kimball and his team through live demonstrations. These opportunities are free and allow those interested in the glass blowing process to observe and ask questions.

Springfield Hot Glass is a family owned glass blowing and flameworking business located in Springfield, MO. The studio first opened in 2003 and specializes in custom vessels, jewelry, lighting, and more.
Free demonstrations are offered the first Friday of every month. This is a great way to experience the hot glass process from a safe distance. Demonstrations take place in the evenings to accommodate 9-5 schedules.
For those who want to dive into glass blowing, Springfield Hot Glass offers bead making, paperweight, and introductory glass blowing classes.
Classes usually take place on weekends and can be scheduled for mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Third Degree Glass Factory was established in 2002 by Jim McKelvey and Doug Auer. The 8,000 square foot work space is home to many glass artists and classes for the public.
Classes at Third Degree are private and last approximately 2.5 hours. Students work one-on-one with a skilled instructor to create their own works of glass art.

Belger Arts Center opened in 2000 and is a public access glass education center and museum. The Center includes the Belger Glass Annex, which offers hot glass classes for all levels.
Classes at the Annex come in two formats. Students can participate in 4-week long sessions or weekend intensives. The 4-week classes meet one day per week.
Special guest instructor workshops are also available throughout the year. These are great opportunities for more experienced glass artists to expand their skill set.
