1) Brookfield Craft Center

Brookfield Craft Center is located on two acres along the Still River. It includes six historic buildings, seven art studios, and a gallery.
Blacksmithing classes at Brookfield include Introduction to Blacksmithing, Damascus forging, welding, and tool making. Classes are between three and four hours long. Open studio nights take place on Fridays and are the perfect time to meet fellow smiths and work on individual projects.

Mystic Seaport Museum is the leading maritime museum in the country. It first opened in 1929 and is situated on 19 acres along the Mystic River.
