Lincoln Tech has eight welding schools across the country. They offer three different welding programs that differ in specialized material. They each feature the three most-used processes in welding: shielded metal arc welding, metal inert gas, gas metal arc welding and more.

The programs begin with an in-depth study of the properties of different metals and then move forward to hands-on training. Students must pass a required 10-hour OSHA-approved safety orientation.

Each instructor at the institute is a certified welder with a minimum of five years of full-time industry experience, so you will be in good hands! The instructors are also certified by the American Welding Society.

Emily Griffith Technical College offers two separate welding programs (1 and 2). Welding 1 gives students hands-on experience in the most important welding processes. Kilroy’s offers small class sizes and tailor each visit to their students’ skill levels. They also offer awesome classes like forging, making leather sheaths and more.

For ages 16 and up, the Workshop offers test prep for the American Welding Society D1.1 3G Test in the areas of GMAW and MIG.

Their Academy offers classes for professionals, but they say that they demand a lot from their students!
