1) FOCI Minnesota Center for Glass Arts (MCGA)

FOCI Minnesota Center for Glass Arts (MCGA) opened in 2009 and is Minnesota’s only non-profit glass education center.
The center offers Stained Glass 1 and 2 class options. Stained Glass 1 teaches basic copper foiling, cutting, grinding, and fitting methods. Students make suncatchers and small windows.
Stained Glass 2 covers lead techniques in six weeks. Students learn advanced lead borders and soldering techniques. Finished objects include windows and wall hangings.

Classes at potekglass take place during afternoons and evenings and run from two days to four weeks. Students can choose to make a stained glass panel, mosaic lamp, or leaded window depending on their experience level.
