List of Glass Blowing Classes in Idaho 2023 [Updated]

Idaho’s diverse landscapes, picturesque small towns and bustling cities are the perfect sources of inspiration for artists of all mediums.
Glass art forms like glass blowing are popular in the state. Idaho’s capital city of Boise is a hub for working artists and glass instructors.
Two of the three classes described below are located in Boise. Anyone living in the Boise area or the eastern side of Idaho should consider taking a class in the capital.

Boise Art Glass was founded in 2004 and specializes in creating sculptures, chandeliers, jewelry, and more. The studio includes a retail space and learning workshops.
Flameworking and glass blowing classes are offered for students of all experience levels. Flameworking or torchworking classes range in length from 2 to 10 hours long. Students can choose from public or private instruction.
Projects at the torch include pendants, icicles, keychains, and wine stoppers.
Glass blowing classes at Boise Art Glass are appropriate for complete beginners and more experienced artists. Classes cover tool use, color application, and fundamental techniques.
Students can choose to create ornaments, paperweights, bowls, soap and oil bottles, cups, and vases. Class prices vary depending on the chosen project and length of class time.
