1) Stained Glass Garden

Stained Glass Garden was founded in 1976 by siblings Joan and Bruce McLean. The studio celebrated 45 years in 2021 and has welcomed a wide variety of artists to instruct classes and show art in their gallery.
The sibling team teaches anything from traditional copper foil to designing your own piece. The classes go over the basics like cutting and foiling before moving on to more advanced topics.
The studio also offers all of its classes as private sessions for up to four people (at no additional cost!).

Rainbow Glass has been serving its community for over 40 years and its students have made over 800,000 pieces. With so many years of experience, you can rest assured that you will receive quality instruction. The resident artist and founder, Phil Teefy, encourages students to get creative.
The full-service studio is well-equipped for all experience levels. Teefy also offers a wide variety of supplies.
Beginner students should consider signing up for a stained glass package that teaches the copper foil method. The package includes 10 classes for $125 and students can attend on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays.
The studio will also work with groups that have more than six people to find the best date and time!

Ocean Stained Glass was established in 1998 by Karen Tribble. After going through a couple of different owners, a former student (Valerie Evans) purchased the studio.
Evans offers a beginners class that includes materials and an advanced class that includes all materials except the glass. The glass is available for purchase at the studio’s store.
Valerie Evans also offers open studio time for those who are in the advanced stages of stained glass. Evans encourages these students to call the studio for more details.

Susanna Conaway’s studio offers a wide variety of stained glass classes. Whether you want to design a six-inch suncatcher or explore framed panels, the classes have something for everyone.
Students can choose their colors, learn the basics, and advance their skills in Conaway’s classes. Participants who complete the classes gain the skills necessary to pursue stained glass on their own.

Beveldine Stained Glass Studio’s mission is to make an environment that welcomes creativity, openness, and inspiration. They are a fully licensed and insured business and a full-service Decorative Art Glass Studio.
The beginner course introduces students to stained glass – the instructor goes over the basics and different methods of building a stained glass window. This class is held every Saturday for five weeks.
The intermediate course analyzes more advanced techniques and helps students develop their own designs. In this course, students are also welcome to bring in pieces they have previously been working on! Like the beginner course, this one takes place every Saturday for five weeks.

In Livermore Art Glass Studio’s classes, students learn the skills and techniques needed to complete beautiful stained glass pieces.
Once a student completes the first lead project they can continue with more difficult designs. The classes include all materials except glass.
