List of Stained Glass Classes in Georgia

Glassmaking has a long history in the United States – it was the first industry that was set up in America in Jamestown.
Captain John Smith wrote to his English investors that the glass-making venture was a success, though it was a very short-lived one.
Glassmaking, and eventually glass art, has become a beautiful hobby in each state thanks to its rich history.
The Stained Glass Association of America explains stained glass the best: “It is the interplay between light and color that sparks the imagination. It is one of the most unchanged crafts, still taking, as it did centuries ago, time and patience, and an appreciation for color and line design.”
If you are interested in history or art (or both!) stained glass is a wonderful way to immerse yourself. There are only a few studios in Georgia that offer classes, but they are well worth checking out.
