Florida Glass House, previously named the Atlantis Art Glass Studio Inc., is a teaching studio that works to preserve and pass along the different techniques of working with glass as an art medium.

This studio provides all the materials you need to complete your first project as well as all the required tools and equipment. The Glass House prioritizes technique over subject matter to teach students the proper and necessary steps to make their own piece of art.

Also, all students who attend any class or workshop receive a 10% discount on all future purchases (with the exception of advanced classes).

Glassic Arts Stained Glass is a full-service stained glass retail shop! It is owned by Kathi Truba who has been at the location for 30 years and has been teaching stained glass for 25 years.

The class fee is $50.00 per class; however, if you pre-pay for four classes at $150.00, you can save 25%. Some of their classes provide materials and tools and some of them don’t – so be sure to check with the studio about materials.

West of the Moon Art Glass is a full-service stained glass studio that specializes in custom creations. This studio is taking COVID precautions and currently only allows 4 to 8 students per class.

In their beginner classes, students build an 11 x 17 panel and choose from over 60 patterns! While you do have to purchase the necessary supplies, it is spread out over the course (think around $20-30.00 per session).

Students receive five weeks of classes and the studio will extend an extra day at no extra cost if needed. Students learn to cut glass, grind, foil, solder and finish their glass panels.

Luanne Kane Stained Glass Studio was established in 1978 and is a full-service studio that is owned and operated by Luanne Kane.

This studio does not require students to purchase tools or materials during your classes, but they only offer small classes with a max of four students. Their classes last for five weeks and are 2 ½ hours long.

No prior instruction is necessary, so if you are new to the art form this is a great studio to start at! Students will complete a stained glass panel and can choose from the studio’s many patterns.

Their classes begin the first week of each month and are held on Saturdays from 9 am to 12 pm or on Wednesdays from 6 pm to 9 pm for four weeks.
